hi rockboxers!

i just ordered one at cscg consulting (www.cscg.de)

if interested, go to their online-shop at:
https://ssl.kundenserver.de/s86867052.einsundeinsshop.de
and do a quicksearch for "i.beat".
they claim to have it for 299? - on trekstor homepage
(http://www.trekstor.de/ibeat500.shtml) it is 399? !!!
:)

whishfully awaiting that little device now (and open firmware, too) :D

btw: a very nice page about xclef800(=i.beat500) is at:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=63292&item=5703466325

greetins
roland

ps:
meanwhile, even t-online sells the xclef/ibeat:
http://www.t-online-shop.de/tonline/product.do?action=getProductDetail&ref=idealo&product=7147
seems to become popular now!

pps:
i was thinking about an ipod - but when i`m reading about it (wondered if i could use
it like an archos as external mass storage) , i just feel remembered to this
great article:
http://www.toad.com/gnu/whatswrong.html
apple built a device which could be so damn great. unfortunately, it`s technically
crippled - i would never buy an ipod because of that.

lot of the groundwork neccasary for porting our beloved Rockbox?
