Now that sound like a truly excellent idea....

|I'm about to implement a sort by date+time feature, as a
|choice to the standard alphabetic sorting. Am I the only one
|needing this? It surprises me that there is no stronger demand.
|My standard situation is that I browse my folders
|(representing albums), looking for the new stuff I added
|recently. However, when I enter the directory with the tracks,
|a sort by time would be no good, disturbing the track order.
|So to avoid switching the sort mode all the time, I'd
|personally prefer to sort only directories by date, the files
|in alpabetical order like it used to be. (What a strange
|mode.) Other people with lots of (e.g. chart) tracks in a
|directory may however want to have files sorted by date as well.
|So how about a new option:
|- sort alphabetically (default)
|- sort by date+time
|- sort directories by time, files alphabetically
|Or an independent choice for files and directories? Or does
|nobody except me need/want any of those?
