Re: Problem with buttons

I have a new V2 and I noticed that sometimes when I am rewinding in a large
file, like a book, it goes forward.
And sometimes when I press down arrow, it jumps into the submenu, like I had
just pressed right arrow.
And sometimes a button acts like I pressed it twice.
The latter 2 problems sure seem like a hardware problem, but I wonder if the
first thing I mentioned, fast forwarding when I press the left arrow is
firmware related.
Perhaps we should include the daily build date when we mention this kind of
thing.
let's see, mine is...
Well, the properties on the ajbrec.ajz file read as modified on Friday May
28, and created on Saturday May 29.

But now, I own a Recorder V2, and it is beginning to happen again. Not only
that, but also: right is confused with left once out of 10 or 15 presses,
and down is confused with right a little less frequently than that.

I probably should have done a little work for myself and tried working with
Archos firmware to find out if the problem is hardware or software related,
but I have not. I'll begin doing that today.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Brian
