Hi.
        I've offered this privately, and now do so publicly. I'm happy to
help anyone out by phone if they need it. The Archos units are the first and
only HD-based MP3 player that's gone towards accessibility, and a little
trouble with the installation process should not keep people from using the
unit to its fullest potential.

I can add a fifth, a friend (not on the list) is having difficulties
too. I offered to help her in detail, but if it's a sort of common
problem, then I'd probably be best not to start!, It's OK, BC will
understand that comment, grin!!!.

The voice file may not fit, if the files and directory buffers are set
to
oversizedly large. Try resetting the settings. And check Info ->
Rockbox
Info. The buffer size given there must be larger than the voice file.
