For jacks, you might try Digikey (www.digikey.com).

If you don't know the dimensions of the jack, you could use a set of
calipers to measure it.

Or, if you won't disturb others, small amplified speakers like one uses with
computers. You could also consider an arrangement with an extension cable
on the headphones (1/8" male plug to 1/8" female jack - stereo) whereby the
cable is tied to the bed frame, a shelf, or some other item. Then if you
fell asleep and rolled over, the headphone cable couldn't pull the Archos
off onto the floor. Hopefully it would just unplug.
