You could also consider an arrangement with an extension cable on the headphones (1/8" male plug to 1/8" female jack - stereo) whereby the cable is tied to the bed frame, a shelf, or some other item. Then if you fell asleep and rolled over, the headphone cable couldn't pull the Archos off onto the floor. Hopefully it would just unplug.
