It struck me that another option would be an installer that downloads the latest available version for you, as then we wouldn't have to rebuild the installer for every new version. > Are there details of how the directory structure of the builds is laid out? 'make zip' does that. It basically runs the tools/buildzip.pl script that creates a full install dir hierarchy. > When creating the setup, I extracted appropriate files from the various > platform specific zip files, but I don't think we'd want to mess about with > that in the build tree. When building zip files, we only have files around for that particular build. We don't have files from other builds easily accessible within the sandbox of the current build. If your install needs files from multiple builds, then I propose it is made into a script that gets the full paths to multiple zip files as arguments and then the script extracts and uses whatever files it deems necessary to use from those zip packages. > Or I could just send my working dir to you and you could figure out how to > modify it to work with the build - whatever's easier. I prefer a fully working script! ;-) We don't even have wine installed here atm. -- Daniel Stenberg -- http://rockbox.haxx.se/ -- http://daniel.haxx.se/ _______________________________________________ http://cool.haxx.se/mailman/listinfo/rockboxReceived on 2004-06-28 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
