Ah, the dreaded ATA error : -1... I had the same problem after I dropped
mine on marble from about 3 feet high. You'll need to take it apart, and
void your warranty, to see if 1.) your battery terminal(s) have become loose
(if so, solder them back in place) and 2.) your hard drive might be dead.

My terminals were ok, I took the hard drive out and ordered a 2.5" to 3.5"
adapter to hook the hard drive to my computer to do some diagnostics. I'll
let everyone know what the what what is.
