would you use to upgrade the firmware? the recording looks totally useless. only 64 or 128kbps?
the original archos recorder had more options and its how many years old? batteries are LiIon so
that probably means they aren't replaceable, and to top it off they're only 1400mAh (FMRs are
2200).

i don't like the look of it. it's also $100 more expensive than an FMR on the same site.
