I know the Rockbox battery capacity setting goes to 3200mAh. Maybe we will
get there one day as technology improves but the current maximum is 2300, I
think.

The latest Energizer NiMH batteries at Walmart (in the US) are 2300mAh. I
got an 8 pack of these for about $18. Not bad.
