However: With the front panel facing you and the display as the upper half of the unit. Nearest the display are a row of 3 small buttons. The left-hand one is the menu key. The other 2 aren't any use to us blinkies. Below this are up, down, left and right. In the middle is play/enter/pause. It's a little round button. The other 4 have raised arrows on them. In principle, when browsing for files and directories, left and right take you back/up and forward/down a level, up and down take you up and down a directory/file listing. When playing, up/down do the volume, left and right, if pressed quickly go forward and back a track, held fast forward/back through a track. Hope that helps, Rob. -----Original Message----- From: rockbox-bounces_at_cool.haxx.se [mailto:rockbox-bounces_at_cool.haxx.se]On Behalf Of Barry Toner Sent: 06 July 2004 16:25 To: Rockbox development Subject: Archos Recorder 20gig Found Hi guys. I have been in contact with the product manager of www.theupgradestore.co.uk He has agreed to allocate one of the units for me that I can purchase in August. I wanted first of all to thank everyone that responded to my plees! :D) Can anyone give me a low down of the keypad layout on the thing as I havent' seen one of these. I own a Jukebox 6000 as I think i mentioned before but have no idea what the AJR is like. I am visually impaired so I won't be able to look at any images of the player. And there's nowhere near me that has any in stores for me to look at. C'mon Rob you've one haven't you mate? grin Cheers Barry "Some people think only intellect counts: knowing how to solve problems, knowing how to get by, knowing how to identify an advantage and seize it. But the functions of intellect are insufficient without courage, love, friendship, compassion and empathy".
