I used the excellent installer to install a recent daily build on my JBR1
last night from here...

The problem is that the HDD doesn't spin down whenever you continue to press
keys on the JB. Try it yourselves...
set your spin down time to 10 seconds,
start playing an mp3 file,
press volume up/down at least once every 10 seconds (spin down time).
The drive never spins down.

This is not the case in RockBox ver 2.2. The only reason to keep the drive
spinning for the spin down time is if the user has accessed the drive, not
if the user has pressed a button.
