A multilayer-contact close to one of the IRFs (the one that handles Vin for the SP6650) was obviously "cold". After soldering the entire contact from the bottom to the upper layer the SP6650 gets his Vin (Pin2) again 2. The SP 6650EU Regulator seems to be damaged. It generates just 0,2V lower VCC voltage than battery power instead of a regulated 3,3V VCC. The Jukebox works in general (it plays music, menus are "blind" accessible (thanks to the Rockbox heros for the talk option), USB does not work as expected) but as the VCC is too high the LCD panel is entirely black and the buttons do not work as expected because as the CPU obviously reads the voltage generated through a potential divider it must take the wrong decisions as VCC is about 1,2V too high. Strange - don't know what caused that problem. Question: It seems to be extremley difficult to get the SP6650 device - expecially in Germany. Does someone have an idea where to buy this device??? Is there a german distributor that sells less than 10.000 pieces ;-)??? If someone has one in his drawer ;-) and want to sell - let me know Markus _______________________________________________ http://cool.haxx.se/mailman/listinfo/rockbox Received on 2004-07-20 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
