  I notice some activity with the FM radio code. I am happy I don't need a
custom build now, FM mono mode is an official menu option :-). Thanks.

  I wish to please report some odd behaviors:

1) In the FM Radio menu screen I can set MONO or STEREO mode. When I toggle
back and forth, I can hear the sound difference as expected. If I return to
the radio WPS screen and hit menu/on key to get back to the main menu while
the FM radio is still playing, I sometimes detect that the FM sound quality
changed. My first impression was that it switched from mono mode back to
stereo mode, but I cannot be sure.

2) Another observation, without changing any recording or tuning settings, the
MP3 bit rate is different when recording FM radio from the FM Radio screen
versus the Recording screen. It seems to always be higher when recording from
the FM radio screen.
