Yeah, I have an FM battery (oh no, the old battery versus cells argument again!)
and swapped it over but the unit still heated up to a horrible level, and the
charge didn't seem to hold for very long. So, I guess this looks like the charging
circuit then? What are your thoughts on the suggestion of only one cell being connected?
I say this as I know at least one person has suffered the same (on a page describing dissasembly
of the JBMM). I want to try and rule stuff out before I take the thing apart and risk destroying it
completely.
