Date: Thu, 2 Sep 2004 16:26:33 +0100 This has just reminded me of something that happened about 18 months ago. Using a Dell PC and 10gig Player, it was possible to power the unit in USB mode with no batteries in at all. I tried it on a couple of other PC's but never managed to get it to work again? I have a 5400rpm disk in it so that is gonna count against me too. But when I had a slower disk with 1800mAh batts I was getting about the same 1.5 hrs of USB. This can be stretched to about 2hrs with the charger inserted. > Anyway, good luck :) > Thanks, I'm probably gonna do it next week if I can get hold of a suitable diode.
