I found 2 additional problems meanwhile:

- building for the player or neo fails with:

  /home/user/rb-patched/build-player/linkrom.lds:8 nonconstant expression for origin
  collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
  make[1]: *** [/home/user/rb-patched/build-player/rombox.elf] Error 1
  make: *** [apps] Error 2

- building for the fm works, but yields a non-usable rombox.ucl
  (too big for flashing)
