FWIIW, I built the top of the CVS tree last Thursday (2004-09-10) and recorded with no problems. I verified it by listening and with qmp3check which complained about garbage in the first frame and truncation of the last frame, but no other problems. I recorded with both mic in and line in, but not SPDIF in (I have no SPDIF sources). I also did not try back-to-back recordings, not being aware of that additional criteria at the time. This is on a AJR-15 (Recorder v1, 15GB HD, USB-2.0).
