F2 is used for frequently accessed functions such as toggling shuffle and repeat, and changing the file browser filter. I agree F3 is not used for anything really useful though. We have discussed changing it for a context-sensitive menu. (Search the archive for 'NEWKEYS'.) > Has anyone already done a "Map" for the Menu structure? It's probably a good idea to scan the archive for this topic too. > Well, of course my primary drive here is that I want to be able to > delete the currently playing file both from the Disk (and the Playlist) We are planning to add a context menu to the wps, which among other things can run a plugin against the currently playing file (much like "open with..." in the on+play menu in the dir browser). This will allow both deletion of files as well as features like tagging files for reripping or marking favorites. I believe this solution will solve your problem in a better way than adding a hardcoded delete-current-file feature. -- Björn _______________________________________________ http://cool.haxx.se/mailman/listinfo/rockboxReceived on 2004-10-09 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
