The current archos hardware is not able to fire up at a certain time
without a small hardware modification.
Uwe Freese discovered that mainly all parts to do so are included
within the unit, but archos "forgot" about such an application and
thus did not the required wirings.

If you are keen on such a feature, you should go ahead with soldering,
then reactivate that feature in the software, then implement it :-)
