Which risk? I explained to you that the risk isn't there. Again: V2/FM/Ondio users hold the OFF button, which activates the clean shutdown. Even if the user continues to hold the OFF key there are still several seconds to save the data before the hardware shuts off. No risk of hard drive damage there. V1 users have two options: 1) Hold the OFF key - this turns off without activating the clean shutdown process. Just like before. 2) Press OFF twice (three, actually, as you stop the music with the OFF key first) - this activates the clean shutdown, and I can't see how this is done by mistake.
