A little more technical research will probably keep the discussion
reasoned. For now I will keep your KISS design in mind during the
analysis. I totally agree that making things more complex than
necessary would be stupid - who can argue with that?

My main research focus will be the: Rockbox Mp3 playback engine,
UDA1380TT (the DAC part), mp3 (MAD)/Ogg(Tremor) codec implementations.
