Hmmm, it shouldn't be doing that. Are you using the scripts packaged in
the VoiceBox.zip file? If you are, could you post a few lines from
Voicebox_logfile.txt? It should look something like this:

Encoding application: C:\Stuff\Rockbox\lame.exe
Folder: C:\SOUNDS voiced
-->Speaking SOUNDS
   -->Encoding C:\SOUNDS\_dirname.wav
   -->Storing C:\SOUNDS\_dirname.talk
"C:\Stuff\Rockbox\lame.exe" -m m -b 24 -S "C:\SOUNDS\_dirname.wav"
"C:\SOUNDS\_dirname.talk"
   -->Deleting file C:\SOUNDS\_dirname.wav
File: C:\SOUNDS\_dirname.talk not voiced

The lines that have this text

-->Speaking SOUNDS

are the ones that show what was actually "spoken" by the voice. I'll
have to see if this is something that happens if you feed an entire
drive letter to the script, rather than a folder or group of folders.
That's my best guess right now, if you are using the current version.
