Hi all,

if you only want to save some telephone numbers and so on, why don't use the calendar plugin? There you can set events for every day with the rockbox text input field. It stores the data in the file /.rockbox/.memo as plain text.

By the way: is there a perl script somewhere to convert the .memo textdata to .csv and back? Perhaps i try writing it myself but i'm not really a pe(a)rl fisher.

But: I also think a text editor for editing .cfg-files would be nice. A really bad thing is that rockbox writes the complete config in the .cfg files. And if you would change some items (especially for line out/carmode) you must edit the configs in the host PC to remove all lines which are not required.
