Date: Tue, 4 Jan 2005 10:20:58 -0000 The HD certainly would disturb the FM reception, and whilst this isn't too much of a problem on the current FMR that I have, it would be whilst recording, as the HD would have to be accessed regularly to save the recorded data. I had an edigital HD mp3 player, and the same would be true for that. Unfortunately yes. The internal audio bus in the ColdFire CPU is only 20 bits. Rumours say that the function is disabled because the hard drive disturbs the FM reception.
