Actually, one of the voices Rockbox has sounds like jaws, I chose that one. I forgot what it was called. LOL Anyway what I'm trying to ask is how will rockbox handle the pictures? Will it just be silent when your moving through them? Think about it, several blind people like me, like being able to go through photos, or play movies on the players, some people who are blind have enough vision to see some, they just need stuff magnified. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Manuel Dejonghe" <limbus_at_gmail.com> To: "Rockbox development" <rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se> Sent: Thursday, January 06, 2005 11:57 AM Subject: Re: iRiver audio hardware LOL DUDE ! yes, the photos would be in color, but I doubt that it is reasonable to implement (or to try to) a text-to-speech-engine on rockbox. furthermore, that image-analyse-thingy sounds far too complicated for a small device. Unfortunately, the Jaws-website does not specify any required hardware specifications. that would it make easier to estimate. manuel On Thu, 6 Jan 2005 11:32:10 -0600, Sarai D.
