Subject: Getting stuck in a directory

Getting stuck in a directory

Hello everyone, I'm encountering a strange problem with the daily
build from 1/19/05. I was not able to tell whether this is a new
problem or not, as this is the first time I have ever been able to
produce it (and reproduce it without fault). I am using the FM
Recorder flashed with the daily build firmware 050119.

Basically, I was listening to some songs from an album and I turned
the device off by holding down the Off button. Upon resuming playback
(the resume feature is on), I stopped the playing track, and attempted
to move up a directory but the keypress was not recognized. I know the
"left" key works fine as I am able to rewind or navigate backwards
with the tracks in the directory while on the WPS screen, and it also
works fine in the menus. So I'm pretty much stuck in this one
directory without any means of getting out of it, unless I connect the
jukebox to a computer and delete the .playlist_control file. I have
tried the same process in many of the other directories that are at
the same level as the one in question, and the problem does NOT
manifest itself. For what they're worth, here are some examples:

Problematic directory: D:\MP3s\Electronica\Squarepusher - Go Plastic

Other directories which work fine: D:\MP3s\Electronica\Squarepusher -
Burningn'n Tree
D:\MP3s\Electronica\Cujo - Adventures In Foam
D:\MP3s\Electronica\The Orb - Morphology

Does anyone have any idea as to why this may be happening? It really
seems very odd...

-Sherv
