Did somebody try other sizes / more powerful / cheaper batteries? Anyhow, this design with a local battery in the remote control is not real convincing.... My latest experience with new batteries in the remote control: 1. long key presses do not work for fast forward and fast backward. Just press once and wait what happens. 2. I had an impression that some erratic (mis-)behaviour may depend on power status of the Recorder (!?) - even with new batteries in the remote control. I have to re-check the next times when battery status is lower whether I can repeat the behaviour. Did sombody make similar observations? Regards Christian Am Freitag, 28.
