today I was wondering a bit... the iRiver series are Coldfire based.
Coldfires are in fact fancy named 68k's I heard.
Also, the original 7.14 MHz 68k Amiga series could do quite nice speech
output (with the help of some supporting chips, of course). Would it
perhaps be possible to somehow port this, or other software of the like,
to the iRiver, which is waaay faster?

not for the narrator though.
Or am I dreaming too much? ;-)
