Coldfires are in fact fancy named 68k's I heard. Also, the original 7.14 MHz 68k Amiga series could do quite nice speech output (with the help of some supporting chips, of course). Would it perhaps be possible to somehow port this, or other software of the like, to the iRiver, which is waaay faster? There's even source available for the translator: http://www.speech.cs.cmu.edu/comp.speech/Section5/Synth/narrator-translator.html not for the narrator though. Or am I dreaming too much? ;-) Ronald _______________________________________________ http://cool.haxx.se/mailman/listinfo/rockbox _______________________________________________ http://cool.haxx.se/mailman/listinfo/rockbox Received on 2005-02-15 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
