Subject: Again about FFW/REW via remote

Again about FFW/REW via remote

Hi again,

I've read the answer Linus has written regarding this issue.

I have reviewed my code changes, and seen, that I'm using the
RC STOP code translated from the remote for one of the directions
REW/FFW. I remember, there was only one code in the button
bit array free to be used. I needed two...

So, after all, my solution is not compatible with the original
remote!

And, with the original remote will not be able to make use of
the REW/FFD.

A question: Does anybody know, what the original remote is
sending, if the Back/Forward button is hold down! A repeated
sequenze of the same code subsequently? Or just once?

I'm now taking a vacation. When I'm back, I'll see to another
solution and get back to you.

After all, this means also to set up a web page with the
schematics and program for the PIC of the remote.

Kind Regards,

  Tino
