the pre set as you say is 89 - that is apparently
(according to mp3 gain info ) optimum so that there is
no chance of any clipping.

however, i allways use it at 91 so i get a little more
volume & have never noticed any clipping.

you can always change it after if you choose to (its a
lot quicker 2nd time round as the analysis bit doesnt
need to be re-done).
