John- Thats what I would like to do, but I could only do it one file at a time. How do you do them all at one time? I have over 800 albums on my 80gb, and I dont really want to do them individually.

Based on a lot of listening and experimenting, I use 92 for audio
books and 91 for music. This is what sounds good to me. Among my
experiments were pulling up the normalized file in CoolEditPro and
actually looking for clips. The problem is, MP3Gain flags a file as
"clipped" even if that clip happens only once. No one is going to
notice a little clip on a cymbal crash. I really wish it gave a
percentage of clipping or a clip count or something like that. It
obviously has to keep track of that to set the "clip" flag.
I suggest you experiment and see what you find acceptable instead of
reading what others say. You'll probably not notice clipping with
Megadeth that you would with Lawrence Welk :-)
When I loaded my 80gb Jukebox up with music, I connected it to a power
supply and then turned mp3Gain loose on the whole thing and let it run
overnight. Now everything plays at the same volume setting.
