Date: Wed, 09 Mar 2005 00:06:24 +0000 From the very moment you lose the files, DO NOT USE THE DISK, as any write to the disk (bookmarks, playlists, etc) risk writing to a sector which is now flagged as unused. WRITE NOTHING TO THE DISK. From there you can hook it up to a PC and run one of any number of disk/file recovery utils - I haven't needed one since the Norton Utils 8 for DOS so I'm not going to name anything - but a google for "file recovery unerase" (no quotes) will spew out any number of results.
