Ya if you can afford it eh? (smile)

Also, you could run two sound cards with speech on one, and music, wav,
system sounds on the other. OH the hassles and costs for the poor
dishevelled blind guy. lol...rocker

How do you keep Goldwave from recording the screen reader?

Hi!
The easiest way I know would be playing the real audio file and
recording it with a programm like Goldwave (shareware, you can use it
without limitations).
In Goldwave you can choose in the recording settings something like
"monitor" and then it records anything the soundcard plays. You can play
the real audio file and goldwave records it. If you copy the lame
encoder dll file to the goldwave directory it can convert it directly to
mp3 if not it records it in .wav format. I am sure that there are other
programms, perhaps some easier than goldwave, but I like goldwave very much.

Have a nice day
Fred
