About SID emulation: Noone's currently working on this. So jump in and
help out :) .. it's certainly a possibility.

About AHX, things look a bit darker. I just searched around, and the
source I found on http://www.abyss-online.de/ and
http://xmms-ahx.sourceforge.net/ can not be used in projects using the
GPL (despite xmms-ahx claiming to be GPL). The core files are under the
following "license":

> - DON'T sell them
> - DON'T claim they're yours.
> - DON'T use commercially.
> - bla..bla..

So to include AHX support, someone would have to talk to the authors
about relicensing as GPL.
