I've had mine for about two years, but have only had Rockbox on it for about six months. You can also get a recorder with the radio. I've heard good and bad things about it, but its supposed to be accessible. I know of some one who bought the recorder w/o the radio for $150 on EBay. I hope you get it, good luck, ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Skarstad" <toonhead5_at_comcast.net> To: "Rockbox development" <rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se> Sent: Tuesday, May 10, 2005 1:11 PM Subject: Re: success with Rockbox, sort of! Hi Sarai Ok, what you have is similar to mine, but with a few differences. Mine has a similar setup, but in mine you have to adjust the volume in the menus which is in sound settings. Mine completely skips recording, so mine is definitely a player. and doing some looking on Ebay of what I ended up getting, it looks like this is right. Ihad the models confused a bit. As another guy on the list correctly noted, there's no such model as an "archos Jukebox studio recorder". So I've now placed another bid on Ebay for a jukebox recorder which is what you have. I like your description, it's a good one so that I'll know exactly what to do if/when I get it, hopefully I'll win it! and it won't set me back too much either. So this should be pretty workable for me.
