Chris,
If you are listening to a file, it should land on the song/file you just
played if you have the option called:
follow playlist
set to "on"
If you turn this off, you will land at the top of the last folder you were
in.
Glenn

hey. Turns out it was the battery. I plugged it in, left for about 20
minutes and tried it again. It all works fine now. I have since plugged it
back in and all is working fine now!! yay!
I'll leave it to charge over night and start using it a little more
tomorrow. There's still so much I don't know yet. For example, I did a
test recording, nothing special but it turns out it works. After I saved
the file and rockbox started talking again, it brought me directly to the
folder with the file i had recorded in it.
Is this supposed to happen? I'm sort of used to landing on the usual
settings like bookmarks, general settings and all that. so if there's a way
i can get to those other settings instead of first landing on the files I
recorded that'd be great.
