I'm a long time lurker but felt the need to say this:

I bought my jukebox player 10 about 2 years for a steal at Amazon for
$70. I bought it because I read about rockbox and was not disappointed
when I installed it. I put the player on the shelf after a while because I
really hadn't a lot of use for a portable mp3 player and the Archos is
a bit large.
I just love gadgets :-/

I recently got the idea to wire it into my car radio using an Aux
adapter when I read about the car adapter mode and again was not
disappointed with Rockbox. I was able to install the Archos in such a
way that the
wires are almost completely hidden and it is easily reachable without a
stretch. I used to pine over the empeg radio project but could never
justify the cost. Now I have something just as good. I turn off the
car and the Archos pauses and resumes at exactly the same place when I
come back.

The other great thing about rockbox is the "voice menu" feature. I use
it as my prime example in conversations of why open source is such
a great concept. I doubt any for-proft company would have ever thought
it worth while to introduce such a feature. With that one development,
you people have made a difference in the lives of people who have it
harder than most. That's a great thing... it also comes in handy in the
car whe you have to keep your eyes on the road.

Keep up the great work, guys and thank you for adding so much value.
