The error numbers tell us which path in the code Rockbox took before the
error occurred. They are unique to the specific version of Rockbox you
are running, as the program code changes from time to time.

You need to specify which version of Rockbox you are running for me to
be able to determine the cause of the error. Based on the current daily
builds, -32 means that check_registers() failed, indicating a hard drive
problem of some kind.

Check the usual stuff, like ground connections, solder joints, batteries
and battery connections.
