If you tried the F1-Key (menus key) on the unit, during start-up, and that
did not work, you could loosen the top two screws on the JBR with a tool
that looks like one of those Allen wrenches, but it has points like a star,
instead of sides.
Then you could pop off the top cover and try and shake the battery about
half way out, and then push it back down firmly.
This may be enough to allow you to power it up again.

Is anyone familiar with this fix to this problem. I've seen it discussed
before on this list, but it seems like a somewhat obscure topic. I see a lot
of discussion of JBR v2s not working, but I'm not really sure that I'm
searching the best way for it.
Can anyone point me twards this entry?
