Just finished it!
since missing a pixel at that resolution can be a big miss (imagine
1-pixel wide missiles which cannot be seen), I prefered OR-ing 2 columns
every 8 pixel, instead of skipping one (I don't know if I made it
clear). Maybe rockboy could use that strategy too on the iriver? Maybe I
could also implement X2 magnification for the iriver and bigger screens...
AS A RESULT, we now have SCHIP games on the archos recorder, and even
CHIP8 games are now played full-size! Works like a charm in the simulator.
The patch (chip8-2.patch) is on the patch tracker.
Does that make it a candidate for rockbox 2.5, just before the feature
