yesterday i tried the latest recorder build, and i found a new option:
menu -> playback -> move to next folder -> yes
If a folder reaches the end while playing songs in it, the next folder is searched and a new playlist is started.
This option was long discussed in the past (~2 years ago) and it seemed to be nearly a "nodo", and now it works! Great! I doesn't have seen this in the latest changing logs.
But the first song in the new folder wasn't buffered while the last song in the old folder reaches the end. And its necessary to have a "flat" folder structure to prevent excessive harddisk activity.
the viewer plugin now have an automatic bookmark function, that means, if you reopen any text it remembers the last position including viewer configuration! So if I want to read guitar tabs in "wide view" and read some lyrics from another file with "narrow view-wrap words" it remembers exactly all position and layouts. To the Devs: w h e r e it saves this information? The next step is a different font for viewer. Maybe viewer.fnt in the fonts directory? If this font exist, the viewer plugin shall use it. Comments?
the ID3 database seems to be buggy.
if I press on+play -> playlist at a song in the database, the browsing screen gets empty and if I press up a bunch of cryptic language strings appears.
It seems to be planned to add songs directly from the search output into the playlist (which makes really sense), isn't it?
