Oh sh**, really sorry, it had totally slipped my mind - I got hung up on
wondering whether it was down to me or the core devs to circumvent the
recurring tools build problems (i still remember hitting it myself) and
forgot about the sed problem.

I will sort this asap - gotta go eat now.
