hi,

my friends jbr20 wont boot fully.

it has 1.28 archos firmware. On start up half the bars
go dark, both
the leds are lit & the hard drive can be heard to be
spinning.
i have tried resoldering the battery connectors & the
6 chasis
connectors. also i have tried a new hard drive &
batteries.

when i plug the charger in with the unit turned off it
does the same
thing - it wont get to the charger page.

any ideas?
