Forgot to say it was for the X11 simulator.
The iriver codecs are stripped-down versions of the elf files (using "objcopy -O
binary wav.elf wav.codec"), whereas the X11 simulator codecs are the elf files
themselves (to allow debugging). Look for vorbis.elf next to vorbis.codec,
you'll find a >256k file.
I don't know about the win32 simulator.
