Hi, Daniel's possibly right. The problem is, that even if the drive's
formatted on delivery, it's not always done properly.
Also if you tried formatting it using windows XP, as a FAT 32 disk,
this can happen.

Did you perhaps format the drive without a (proper) partition? If so,
then
Rockbox can't use its dedicated config-area to save configs in.
