Hi David, you're typing with your caps lock on mate, at least, that's
what my speech is saying!, smile. OK, you can format the drive via the
USB link, and you can get a programme called "swiss knife" which will
format the drive for you. Look on the rockbox web-site for the link,
sorry I can't find the message that was posted to me on Friday giving
me the link. I used a different programme, but I'm experienced with
working with DOS, and coould handle the command line option. However
you're going to have to find out if the programme will work with
speech yourself, I can't do that, as I haven't got the software.

it would be useful to know however, so you're doing something that'll
help everyone out.
