The 32 GB limit is yet another of the mysteries of Windows. I believe that the actual limit of FAT32 file systems is 128 GB. You can do this using freeware tools like h2format (ftp://ftp.heise.de/pub/ct/ctsi/h2format.zip) or if you want a more powerful tool (multiple partitions, etc.), there are tools like Symantec's PartitionMagic (http://www.symantecstore.com/dr/sat1/ec_MAIN.Entry17c?CID=189671&PN=5&SP=10007&SID=49997&PID=705807&API1=65&API2=GOOGLE&API3=partit ionmagic_exa&API4=Empty&API5=Empty&DSP=&CUR=840&PGRP=0&CACHE_ID=189671) See http://www.techolio.com/rd2780_upgrade/ for a play by play description of what you need to do. colin _______________________________________________ http://cool.haxx.se/mailman/listinfo/rockbox Received on 2005-08-09 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
