First, the jukebox should be powered by the charger during the firmware upgrade. Follow these steps: Copy the patched file ihp_120.hex to the root of your player. Now disconnect the device and start op the player. Go into the menu (hold the joystick down for a few seconds). (Note that the menu will disappear after a 20 seconds of inactivity.) Go into the "General" menu (first item, so just press the joystick). Go to the "Firmware Upgrade" menu option (Press the joystick down 5 times). Press the joystick. A dialog pops up asking you if you are sure - move the joystick to the right and press the joystick to confirm and the firmware upgrade begins. After a while, the player will turn off and the firmware upgrade will be complete. > What am I missing here? When I patched the firmware do I need to rename > the resulting file? No, the file should be named ihp_120.hex (or ihp_100.hex if you have a H110 or H115 - 10 and 15gb models). -- Jonas H rasher(at)rasher(dot)dk -- Random .sigs suck _______________________________________________ http://cool.haxx.se/mailman/listinfo/rockboxReceived on 2005-08-26 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
