It does, but I don't think Rockbox would read Data files. Maybe I should
scan a book with Kurzweil and turn it in to a MP3 file and see how
Archos and Rockbox handles it.

Hi,

The archos devices can be filled with data and music with any usual file
handling tool. I'm not sight disabled myself, but I suppose that the
Windows Explorer would do the job, provided you are using windows.
