Recording with an internal microphone is something you do not want: you'd hear the hard drive spinning up every 2 minutes. They have worse bass and less buttons than Archos recorder models either. See this thread of a few days ago about what player to choose: http://www.rockbox.org/mail/archive/rockbox-archive-2005-10/0075.shtml As for me, I'd say iRiver H120/iHp120 or Archos recorder V1. See the DeviceChart for all available models rockbox works on: http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/DeviceChart You probably need a sighted person near you to make any sense of it :-) Ronald On Mon, 10 Oct 2005 20:24:03 +0200, C_no_C <cnoc_at_wi.rr.com> wrote: > Other then not recording, is the studio a nice model that works well > with Rockbox? > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Glenn at home > To: Rockbox > Sent: Monday, October 10, 2005 1:17 PM > Subject: Re: Archos Studio > > > It may be the studio models that don't record. > Glenn > ----- Original Message ----- > From: C_no_C > To: rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se > Sent: Monday, October 10, 2005 1:08 PM > Subject: Archos Studio > > > Hello all, > > I have found a few Archos Studios on EBay and was wondering if they > are a decent player to get.
